After guiding and managing 100’s of models, new and experienced, some of which have become full time professionals in modeling and acting, Mark is now gearing his efforts more towards his photography.  In the beginning of 2009, Mark closed CIMM and went back into sales on a full time basis.

Quotes Mark constantly refers to are: “At this shoot, the number one rule is YOU HAVE TO HAVE FUN!”  He also frequently refers to “Just move… don’t pose.”

Those who have worked with Mark are relaxed in his very professional, yet fun approach he has with everyone and is highly recommended by many.

PLEASE NOTE:  Mark holds a full time day job (8a - 5p) and shoots on select weeknights and weekends.  Please time your requests accordingly as his weekend schedule fills up quickly.  Since photography is not his employment, but a hobby, the passion is back.  He has many friends that are excellent photographers, but do not use it as employment because "when it's a job, it becomes work and not as fun as it can be.  It's art, not a job."

Mark’s photography started in a high school “Photography 101” class in 1975.  It soon became a passion, hobby and livelihood.   After college graduation with a music education degree, Mark taught high school instrumental music for 5 years while assisting the year book staff with photos and ideas and continued to shoot weddings and portraits.

After teaching high school, Mark went into business, successfully selling office equipment to major accounts for 23 years.  He opened a photography - model management company dba Creative Images & Model Management (CIMM), registered in Illinois on January 30, 2004.
